“Readability”, “Legibility” and “Page Text as a Graphic” are discussed on pages 247-248 of our Non-Designer’s Web Book.
When putting images or text on a page, think about your color combinations. If the background is green and the text is red… what an eye strain! OUCH!

As shown in the example at: http://animatingeducation.com/fonts.php, not all computers have all the same fonts.
- Create an Image of this text in any Font, Color, Size and Shape you want:
“HAPPY HOLIDAYS!” - Save your image as a .jpeg, .jpg .png or .gif and put the image in a new web page of your web site.

- Save your page as holiday.html using the full path to your page. Such as:
http://yoursite.com/holiday.html - Find a Holiday image or use the one linked below and add it UNDER or BEHIND the Text Image you created.

- In the <title> area of the head code, create the Document Title
